The brief for this task was to design a workplace which encourages interaction and improves the effectiveness and wellbeing of those who work in the office environment. öra studios is a creative company specialising in design innovation. Offering architectural, interior and communication design services, öra studios’ holistic approach to design offers clients a diverse and immersive experience. With a variety of creative professionals in this firm, öra studios’ head office embodies their approach and identity. With careful consideration of the spatial layout and attention to detail, their office fit out encourages collaboration and also includes open and focused workspaces.
The slideshow below shows my progress and refinement before reaching the final outcome. A collection of my drawings which showcase my thought process relating to spatial layout and design concepts. The first two images are hand drawings and sketches done on yellow trace which show the initial concept design for the chosen space. The next three images are Revit drawings which I have rendered using procreate which represent texture and materiality.
The images below are of my final outcome. The floorplan was thoroughly revised, resolving spatial and circulation issues relating to the initial concept. Exploration and experimentation with colour, texture, lighting, and materiality was also considered. Blending the brand and the ethos into the design was paramount, creating a quality workspace.
